Welcome to The Dubai Lime, and The Abu Dhabi Lime (On its way) the UAE’s Grass Roots community arts, music, entertainment and culture portal visited by over 50,000 people a month.

We are a collection of small business owners, large business owners and giant business owners, diverse people, the men and women in the street, people that are Tea Boys to CEO’s  that have come together to build a free community based platform for Arts Music, Culture and community integration in the UAE.  We are staffed by a full time team of three people and supported by over 7000 community members that contribute to the website. 

The Dubai Lime is a not for profit forum that supports original music artists, painters, designers and film makers by providing a online and offline arts forum to promote Grass Roots cultural development in Dubai.  We also provide free community based events open to anyone in the Dubai community.  Our activity includes a community art exhibition, Dubai’s Open Mic Circuit, Charity Support, Arts Grants, community events and much more.  Our aim is to break down cultural barriers in the UAE with music, arts and free events.  We also serve to provide an online social documentary of life in Dubai and promote Dubai positively to the outside world.

We were set up by the Ascala Group , (History ) and operate as the Corporate Social Responsibility platform of H2O New Media Web Development Dubai a multi media design house based in Dubai. We are funded with Banner Display Advertising on the website and financial & resources support from our charter members who include, Strawberry PR , Blue Banana , CMPi Media , Baraka Group , & Ocean World Productions .

We are an ideal platform for companies wishing to Advertise in Dubai,(See our ethics policy for advertisers ) companies wishing to sponsor community based activities and support community based arts and entertainment.  Importantly we are a grass roots organisation and exist to promote Dubai based artists of all races, colours and creeds to the wider world.
